During tax submission, it prompts message "Approval indicator must not be blank if Singapore Permanent Resident status is approved on or after 01.01.2011".

Under IR8S set up "Has approval been given by CPF Board to Make full contribution ......", do I need to choose Approval No or Approval Yes ?

Answers:

1)   Go-to Income tax module > Process > View tax record, double-click employee’s IR8S

2)   At “Has approval been given by CPF board to make full contributions…”, please select below.

If this employee is PR granted after 01 Jan 2009 and contributing normal rate ( eg. ER - 4%, EE - 5% for 1st Year PR), you have to set as Approval No.

If this employee is PR granted after 01 Jan 2009 and contributing full rate ( eg. ER - 16%, EE - 5% for 1st Year PR), you have to set as Approval Yes.
