Add Multi-Currency

Sage One supports multi-currency transaction and user can choose to use live exchange rates from the European Central Bank (ECB), which updated daily so it will always be using the most up-to-date rate or user can set their own currency rate. User can also track any losses or gains as a result of changes in the rate. 

Prerequisite: Make sure the multi-currency module has been activated and set in Sage One

Check your Multi Currency Module

Step 1: Administration à My Profile à Number of Multi-Currency Licenses.

Step 2: If there is no Multi Currency activation, Go to Upgradeà Insert Multi-Currency to purchase/activate à Nextà Proceed with the payment transaction.

Step 3: Your Multi-Currency will be activated accordingly.

Set Multi Currency 

Step 1: Go to Companyà Change Company Settingà Multi-Currency

Step 2: By default, the company is set to the Country home currency (depending on the country that is registered to)

Step 3: Click on Add Currency to add currency.

Step 4: Click on edit to edit currency. User can change the currency rate while creating the transactions.

Step 5: Click on Save.

Set Customer/ Supplier currency

Step 1: Go to Customer à Add a Customer / List of Customer to set the currencyà Save.

Step 2: Go to Suppliers à Add a Suppliers / List of Suppliers to set the currencyà Save.

Create Transactions in Multi Currency

System will automatically show the real-time currency rate or user can click on Change Rate to customize the rate.

User can do this in all the transaction through Sage One.
