User's Question:

I am currently a Sage 9.5 user with SNO : S09001432xxx. I want to install the new version of sage with GST version.

What are the procedures that we need to follow on the transition of these new systems.

1) Do I have to download Sage USB2015 v.9921 or Sage 50 or another version? I am confuse there are so many version.
2) Where do I need to key in the activation code? I have the activation code with me.
3) Do I have to deactivate the old system first before I activate the new system?
4) After I deactivate the old system (Sage 9.5), can I still able to access back Sage 9.5 for some old accounting data in it?

I have tried calling your desk-help telephone number but was put on hold for almost 10 minutes. So I decided to write to you instead of waiting for available help as I know you all are very busy.

Hope to hear from you the soonest.

Answer:

Dear Joshua,

Thank you for your enquiry. Kindly refer the answer below:

1. Your license is for Sage UBS Accounting & BIlling and it is until 2nd July 2015Hence you may install the Sage UBS 2015 by refer to the installation link at:

http://sageubs.sage.my/index.php/connected-services/product/sage-ubs-2015 (Version 9.9.2.4)

2. a) If you wish to install it in the same PC: After the installation, the license will be detected automatically.

    b) If you wish to install it in different PC: Submit a Reissuance Form to Sage > Go to Main Page > Manage License > License Wizard > Activate New License: I would like to activate my software over the internet > Next > enter My App ID and Activation Code to activate it.

3. It is depends on your preference, it does not affect both system.

4. Yes you can if you have done your data backup before uninstall/deactivate it. You can restore it in your new software to check your old data.

Thank you for your kind patience Joshua.
