Scenario:

Below shows the step determine the number of Workgroup and Work Schedule to be created based on the following requirements:

- 2 types of workers - Admin Workers & Factory Workers.
- Factory Workers consists of: Foreign Workers & Local Workers.
- Admin Workers & Local Workers are divided into: Muslim & Non Muslim.
- Muslim Workers : Lunch Hour = 2.5 hours on Friday.

Working Schedule for Admin Workers:

Work : 8:30am – 5:00pm (Mon - Fri)
            8:30am – 1:00pm (Sat)
Lunch : 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Overtime : 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Working Schedule for Factory Workers:

Work : 8:30am – 5:00pm (Mon - Sat)
Lunch : 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Overtime : 5:00pm – 6:00am (next day)

Meal Allowance is given to:

Foreign Workers – entitle for RM2 if overtime done is 5 hours and above.

Local Workers – entitle for RM4 if overtime done is 5 hours and above.



Solution:

There are 5 workgroups to be created: two for Admin (Muslim and Non-Muslim) and 3 for Factory (Local Muslim, Local Non-Muslim & Foreign).

There are 5 work schedules to be created in total. 3 for Admin Workers (Mon~Friday; Saturday and Muslim-Friday) and 2 for Factory Workers (Local & Foreign)).
