Error: Employee has Failed to process pay

Scenario:

i)                    Reprocess Pay for staff, system prompt up a message:

Error: 0010 has faied to process  !

  

ii)                    Click on Preview Debug”


Solution:

i.             User must check on employee setting at Payroll à Pay Details

ii.            Click on Pay Calculation

iii.           Working Calendar show as 5Days Week Cal

iv.            Click on Calendar Setup

v.             Select Calendar ID 5Days Week Cal

vi.             Click on     

vii.            Hours Per Year is blank, click Recalculate and save

viii.          Reprocess Pay for the staff

 

Notes:

The error occurred due to user data have migrated from EPW to EPE, where the original setting in EPW Hours Per Year is zero. In EPE payroll, hours per year cannot be blank.
