Scenario:

How to change Pay Group which system have run payroll for 3 months in different Pay Group?

 

Scenario:

1.      Group of Staff, i.e.: Office and General Workers

2.      For Office Staff, payroll cycle will be 1 –Current; End- Current

3.      For General Workers, payroll cycle will be 26-previous month; 25 – current month

4.      Overtime will be based on fixed 26 days, 8 hours per day

5.   NPL/AB – based on cycle

 

Solution:

i.          Set new pay group

•          Payroll Module: Setup → Pay Group Setup

•          New, set as below

•          Click Confirm

•          Sub Period Cut Off date

•          Leave Cut Off Date, set for Absent and NPL


ii.         Blank Initialization for new group

•          Pay Group: Gen

•          Blank Initialisation, Period until 3

•          Confirm

 

iii.        Assign employee under new group

•          Setup → Pay Group Setup

•          Assign

•          Confirm

 

iv.        Pay Details, set NPL, Absent and Overtime

            NPL/Absent and Overtime setup

v.         Reprocess

vi.        Checking Overtime and NPL/Absent
