Scenario:
Error: Employee Calendar has zero working days (may require to initialise)
Error: Employee has failed to process !
Solution:
Error may due to the record have the different working pattern than the company default working calendar pattern. For example, the default working pattern is 5 Days Week Calendar and the employee A001 work 5.5 Days Week Calendar. Therefore, the 5.5 working pattern has not included initializing while the new calendar year set up at the very beginning.
i. Core → Setup → Initialize New Year Setup
ii. Initialize the Step 1: Initialize Calendar
iii. Select the year of the current year → 2011
iv. Select the Calendar ID for 5.5 Days Week Calendar and move it to the right handed column. → Confirm.
v. Back to the Payroll → Pay Record → Reprocess the record again.
