EPF Scheme and Policy default setup

Scenario:

How to set the default EPF scheme and Policy to the system whereby whenever the new join employee will be going to set as the EPF scheme and Policy automatically.


Solution:

i       Payroll → Setup → Pay Default Setup

ii      Scroll down on the list at the selection on the left handed field and look for the EPF Policy

iii     Select the EPF Policy (EPF Policy for the year 2011 is Employer 12% and Employee 11%) to EPFYr2004Jan → Save

iv     Scroll down on the list at the selection on the left handed field and look for the EPF Scheme

v      Select the EPF Scheme based on:
        -    EPF Mandatory: Follow the percentage exactly as the Policy which you selected.
        -    EPFManVol: Follow the percentage of the policy selected PLUS the extra percentage which both the parties of employer or employee wish to
             have the extra contribution.

vi    Save
